Bhavana is one of the hot tollywood actresses in India. Bhavana has acted with almost all the top most heroes in south India.
Bhavana is a South Indian actress who acts in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies. Bhavana made her debut in Kamal's Nammal which won her critical acclaim and various honours, including the State award.

Karthika Balachandran (Bhavana) was born on 6th June 1986 in Thrissur, Kerala, India. Her nickname is Kaathi. Her parents are Pushpa and G.Balachandran, a cinematographer. She has an older brother, Jayadev.

Bhavana made her entry into cinema with Nammal (2002) which won her the Kerala State Special Jury Award when she was in eleventh grade. The year 2003 was good for Bhavana with more hits like Chronic Bachelor, C.I.D Moosa and Swapnakoodu.
Bhavana has acted alongside Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Jayaram, Prithviraj, Kunchacko Boban, etc.. the famous actors of Malyalam. Bhavana was awarded the State Award for Best Character Actress for Daivanamathil in 2006. In Tamil Bhavana debuted with the film Chithiram Pesuthadi (2007) was a huge success.
Bhavana She had her debut made in Telugu cinema through Ontari (2008). Bhavana was again seen in the movie Hero (2008) and Mahatma (2009).

Though Bhavana got several Tamil films she refused them due to tight schedules. Her first Tamil film originally offered was Koodal Nagar opposite Bharath but shelved due to some technical difficulties, but completed and released recently in April 2007. Bhavana first released Tamil film Chithiram Pesuthadi was a huge success. After that she did many Tamil films.
Bhavana’s upcoming movies are Aasal (Tamil), Jackie (Kannada) and Cheri (Tamil).
